New Migros In Çalis The large business group KOÇ has the plans of establishing either a TANSAS or MIGROS in Çalis; as both market chains belong to the same company. The location is right opposite the Aqua Park-water park in Çali ş. It is said that the market will be ready for the season.
Next step is the University The mayor of Fethiye Mr. Behçet Saatçi has met with the Dekan of the Mugla University whom is from Fethiye himself; Prof. Dr. Mansur Harmandar. In the meeting the major issue was the extention works of the already excisting faculty in Fethiye and a new university finally.
Fethiye Main Highway out of order The representetives of the Fethiye Council have announced that the refining works would need some time as it is 2500 meters lenght. It was explained that the works were mainly including piping new lines for rain water system.
Doggy Problem Fethiye Municipality Animal Shelter Center has been collecting the unowned dogs from the sreets. Some of our citizens have complained about the loose dogs on the steets; that the dogs have attempted to attack them. The Municipal Veterenary has asked people owning dogs not to free them for their needs in the evening times and to walk them.
